Postdoctoral fellowships

The Institute of Chemistry together with Semiconducter Physics Institute, the Institute of Physics, the Institute of Biotechnology, the Institute of Biochemistry, Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuanian Energy Institute, and the Institute of Physical Electronics is participating in "Development and implementation of program for postdoctoral fellowships in the field of natural sciences".The program is administrated by Science Counsil of Lithuania. Starting from December 2006 the registration of applications for postdoctoral fellowships is done online (https://postdoc.eppas.lt).
Fellowships last 12 months. The evaluation of application will be done on December 15, 2006, and February 15, 2007. Financial support (50000 Litass per fellowship) is solely allocated to fellows salary (including taxes).
How does postdoctoral fellowship program works?
The postdoctoral fellow together with host institution submits an application to program administrator through EPPAS online registration system. Program administrator then makes the decision whether the application will be financed and to what extent.
Who can participate?
Lithuanian and foreign citizens, holding Ph. D. degree in physical, biomedical, or technology sciences, can participate in the program. Applicants must have received their Ph. D. degree earliest 3 years ago at the institution, different from host institution.
